With Salesforce Files Connect makes it even easier to share information throughout your enterprise.

If your business is anything like us at SkyPlanner, South Florida's premier Salesforce consulting and customization company, then you share a lot of files among your team using file repositories such as Microsoft's OneDrive or Google Drive. While convenient in their own way, having to share files outside of Salesforce does add another . BUT that's no longer the case with the new Salesforce Files Connect, which takes the existing Salesforce Files functionality one step further.

Users can now search through their cloud files using a single simple-to-use interface within Salesforce. According to a press release from Salesforce, which cites research conducted by IDC, "36 percent of employees' days are spent looking for and consolidating information, and 44 percent of the time employees can't find the information they need to do their jobs. Because information is not centralized, 61 percent of employees typically access four or more systems to get the information they need to do their jobs.Salesforce Files Connect will allow for universal sharing on the Salesforce1 Platform as well.
