There's been rampant speculation over the last couple of months of a possible merger of Salesforce, the world's #1 CRM platform, with Microsoft (if not a full-on acquisition of Salesforce by the tech giant). Here at SkyPlanner, South Florida's Salesforce consulting company, that speculation was heightened after Salesforce unveiled its new interface, which bears a striking resemblance to Microsoft's own CRM, Dynamics. While a merger or acquisition still hasn't happened - at least not publicly - the two tech innovators announced a slew of new integrations that underlie an increasingly strong partnership.

Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce, said this about the partnership:
"...the collaboration has been so successful, now we’re doubling down and delivering even more innovation that will help our mutual customers be more productive and connect with their customers in a whole new way.”
Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, added:
“As a platform and productivity company, we are focused on bringing together the best of Microsoft Azure, Office and Windows with partners like Salesforce to empower our mutual customers to network, collaborate, communicate and discover information in more effective ways.”

Salesforce Integration with Office Graph and Office Delve

in Office Delve.
