4 ways to achieve peace and tranquility this holiday season.

There's a chill in the air (well, as much of a chill as you can get in Miami) and there's Christmas music on the radio. Yes we're in the thick of the holiday season here at SkyPlanner, South Florida's premier Salesforce consulting and customization company. And while we know that it's supposed to be a time for joy it can also be a time for stress if you don't have the proper life/work balance (other may refer to it as work/life but our priorities are in order).

Here's 4 things we have found are necessary to achieve that life/work balance.
  • Create a schedule and stick to it. It is easy to get overwhelmed with completing projects while juggling personal responsibilities and familial obligations so making a schedule that's realistic is step one.
  • Prioritize correctly. Even with an airtight schedule you must accept that everything on the to-do list will not get checked off. Unforeseen situations might arise that will keep you from finishing something at work (just like they will that last workout in anticipation of all the cookies you're going to be eating). Make this point clear to customers and clients, as well.
  • Realize that December 31st is not an actual deadline. While it might seem like the new year is when all milestones must be met, at its core is just another day. Don't allow the calendar to put undue stress and pressure on you or your business.
  • Just enjoy the holidays. They come once a year and are gone like the wind before the grind of the new year begins. Don't let them pass you by because you're too concerned with other things.
Keeping this four things in mind will help you take full advantage of the holiday season while also completing most of your business obligations. It's what we do here in our offices at SkyPlanner and something we contribute to as success as South Florida's premier Salesforce consulting company!
